While Scandans performs dances from all of the Scandinavian countries, their presentations usually feature the music, dances, costumes and cultural information of one country at a time. This way, audiences can glimpse the individual "personality" of each country. In
addition, the group has created an energetic Viking
presentation in which dancers in recreations of authentic
11th century Viking dress perform a collection of dances
from all over Scandinavia as well as educate and entertain
with information about the culture and exploits of
the Vikings. |
